ABOUT KUCH

The name KUCH means "migration" Kuch is a continuation of Cieturica which opened in 2003 in Southville Bristol. In 2016 KUCH was opened. The cuisine and menus are inspired by Southern Persian Soul Food.

The name KUCH is derived from the Bakhtiari tribes and their migration twice a year with their herds of pasture. In the summer they go to Mount Zagrab and in the winter they come back to the fields below the mountains. They are known famously as "The People of the Wind".

Named after the Persian word for "migration," Kuch traces the seasonal journey of the Bakhtiari tribe from the plains of Khuzestan to the Summer pastures beyond the Zagros Mountains of Western Iran.

Taking inspiration from the nomadic spirit of the tribe, Kuch invites you to experience the bold and distinctive flavors of the Southern Persian golf.
